In her own words…

Pet Imagery is very special to me as it initally started as a way I could document my beloved family dog, Norma, before she passed away. Norma was the most fabulous dog, really. She happily greeted you with the biggest, friendliest smile everytime she strolled into the room. Saying goodbye was my worst nightmare come true. How does anyone really prepare for that feeling? It’s as though someone has carved out everything inside and left nothing but emptiness. Pretty depressing stuff. Okay, I didn’t mean to get all “debbie downer” but the pictures–the memories– help foster that postive feeling and h e a l. How will you remember your pets? A photograph allows us to stay in that moment, forever. -Lauren
