Hey folks! Thanks for checking out my most recent session favorites! My time with Duke and his family was such a gift. I have known this handsome senior and his parents for a number of years now. Every time I get to see Duke (11yrs, Boxer), he has always greeted me with such a force of pure happiness and energy! Our recent visit was no exception–however, Duke’s physical state has declined in recent months. It has been extremely difficult for his parents to witness the changes and deal with the challenges he faces every day. His charming smile and spirited personality are still ever-present. In all honesty, Duke seems completely unaware of his physical deterioration. Despite all the odds, he continues to have the will and desire to push forward and enjoy life as much as he can. That force of happiness was on full display during our session last month! Together with his family, Duke mustered up so much strength and posed for me in the South Philly Spring landscape. We walked over to a local park and Duke’s little human brother enjoyed some camera time as well! After Duke got a little too excited with a stick, we soon headed back to their house for some fun with bubbles! I love this crew to pieces and I am so very glad we were able to capture these moments together.
