More Polaroid Work…

The film I used for my polaroid series (Type-85 p/n) has been discontinued since 2006 and though I miss it dearly, I feel that these photographs now represent something that can never be duplicated or imitated. They are truely one-of-a-kind. Here are a few more recent images as I started to photograph more structural subject matter.

  • Lauren,

Wanted to say that I think your photography technique is awesome. First came across them on Fine Art America but wasn’t sure if you were still using the site. The framing and vignetting really makes your photography stand out from the rest, which I feel is tough to do in a lot of cases. Looks like you found your niche and kudos for that.

    Best of luck to you,

    • Thank you so much for your kind words, Scott! I’m glad you found my blog because yes, I do not use Fine Art America anymore! In fact, I kinda forgot about it–what, with all the other social networking and blog sites–it’s so hard to keep everything up-to-date! In any case, I appreciate your comment! I wish they still made the polaroid film used for the images (Type 85 p/n) because I really miss it! I’ve been trying to replicate this style digitally, which has proven challenging! However, I do have some new work to showcase so come back to visit soon!ReplyCancel
