Hey folks! Happy weekend! I’ve been a little lax on updating my Blog lately thanks to all Fall shoots! Pet Imagery has been busy! I wanted to take a moment to look back on my session with Abby and her family from last month. Abby came into my life after her mom reached out with an urgent request for a session. Thankfully we were able to set something up the very next day as Abby’s terminal condition was deteriorating at an unexpected rate. The devastating news–cancer–has sadly taken the lives of so many beloved animals that have graced my camera. It’s so crazy because most of the time, they don’t even realize how sick they are. Abby was no exception-she greeted me with smiles and really seemed to bask in the limelight of the moment. I’d like to believe she gave it all she had, as it ended up being her very last day. I know her spirit is forever bopping around her family, with her incredible expressions and ears for days. She truly touched my heart and it is a session I will hold with me always. I certainly can’t forget the gorgeous Ava! She certainly stole a little of the spotlight with her effortless posing and adorably sweet demeanor. I also was able to snap a few of their handsome kitties. Here are a few highlights:
