New Dog Photography: Honey, Chihuahua/Jack Russell mix; Philadelphia, PA

Hello there! Hope you’re having a nice start to your week! Thanks for stopping by to check out another episode of Pet Imagery Session Favorites! Today I have the stunning Honey! You wouldn’t have guessed that Honey is 13 years young! This sweet senior impressed me with such poise and grace in front of the camera. She has been going through a lot lately, battling health issues left and right all throughout her life. With her incredibly caring and supportive mom by her side, Honey has overcome so much. It was very special to see her soak up the limelight and enjoy all the TLC during our session. We explore her favorite neighborhood park, Rittenhouse,  which is across the street from her home. I loved seeing her mosey around the landscape and she happily posed with the friendly flowers. She was so confidant in her bright red hardness and strutted her stuff for all the park to see! It was nice to get a few snuggly indoor shots with Honey in some of her favorite spots. Have a look at some of the highlights from our time together:

Thank you so much for checking out the highlights from my Honey session! I’ll be featuring Hunter, the handsome Rhodesian Ridgeback next! Get excited!

New Dog Photography: Reggie and Family; Ambler, PA

Hey, hi and hello, Internet world! Welcome to another episode of… Pet Imagery Session Favorites! Today I have a special tribute of a very special pooch. Reggie came into my life after hearing from his mom that Reg had not much time left on this Earth. His resilient body was finally succumbing to the trauma of cancer and was also effecting his mental state. In fact, we weren’t even sure that Reggie would be able to handle a photo session with his condition so up and down. After making the decision to move forward, we made sure the whole family was involved to celebrate and shower Reggie with so much love and TLC. Their children had a blast during our short time but something magical happened: Reggie, with so much energy and spirit, really seemed to bask in the moment. He certainly kept me on my toes as he sniffed and explored (and noshed!) his familiar grounds. I would like to believe he knew why I was there and truly relished the opportunity to show off his old self.

The following day after our shoot would be Reggie’s final day. He is no longer suffering or feeling any pain and that is comforting for everyone that knew him. Boy did Reggie have a lot of love and support throughout his long life! I know that in spirit, he will forever be by his family’s side. He was an absolute joy to photograph. The warmth in his eyes and friendly presence is something I will keep with me always. Reggie was also quite the master of the “staring off into the distance” pose. What a natural! Here are a few highlights from our time together:

Thank you for taking the time to view the photos of Reg and his beautiful family! My next showcase will be featuring a sweet senior gal named Honey! She’s an all white Chihuahua/Jack Russell Mix. Have a great weekend!

New Dog Photography: Sydney; Australian Shepherd, Brandywine Creek State Park, DE

HAPPY FRIDAY! Thanks for popping over to check out my recent Session Favorites! I have a beautiful 9 year old Australian Shepherd to feature today! I met Sydney and her awesome parents at the gorgeous Brandywine Creek State Park on a beautiful, warm Fall day! I just wanted to put my face directly in Sydney’s stunning coat upon first meeting. She is so so so pretty! I may have gotten lost in those blue eyes while editing her images! She is so charming and friendly. I loved watching her strut her stuff along the rocks as we explored the park landscape. I had a hard time believing Sydney was in fact 9 yrs old as she bopped around the grounds and showed off her glorious self. I think she really shined when posing with her loving mom and dad. As the clouds came in, she soaked up every last ray of sun! I’m so glad the weather held out for us! Here are a few highlights from our time together!

Thank you so much for viewing the images! I will be sharing my very special tribute to the sweet Reggie in my next showcase!

Lauren 🙂
