New Pet Photography: Otis and Harlow, English Bulldog & Boston Terrier; New York, NY

Happy March everyone! 2013 is really moving along! I’ve been so excited to share with you Otis and Harlow’s showcase! What an awesome shoot we had! This was a special secret session as my client was surprising her boyfriend for his birthday. He didn’t find out until his bday print was framed, in his hands! I LOVE when people give the gift of pet photography. So memorable.

I made the trip up to NYC for the day and we spent most of the time hanging out in Washington Square Park–just a few blocks from Otis and Harlow’s home. However, due to Otis’ unstable hips, he traveled in style in a brand new Radio Flyer wagon! He looked like a movie star rolling down Fifth Ave, especially with people stopping us to take pictures of him! What a funny and fun sight we must have been with Harlow leading the way. After playing at the park, we headed back and captured some snuggly moments together. Harlow showed off a few more bursts of energy but by the end, they were both pretty pooped! Sucessful shoot! New Pet Photography: Zeus, American Bulldog; Bellevue State Park, DE

Hey there! You are in for a real treat with today’s session favorites! I’ve been so excited to show off more of Zeus, the American Bulldog that I had the absolute pleasure of photographing last month. This stunningly handsome fella was a bonafide pro! He really knew how to strike a pose! Zeus’ dad is surprising his wife with photos from our session! I just love when people give the gift of photography!

The foggy morning really set the stage for a great shoot on the wonderful grounds of the Bellevue State Park. It should be noted that Zeus was on a leash the whole time (park policy) but it was removed in post production. At first I was a little worried about Zeus being all-white with the foggy air; however, it couldn’t have been a more perfect setting for him. He had a blast playing with his gigantic red ball and running around with his family. Zeus comes to this park all the time and you could tell how comfortable he was with his surroundings.
