New Dog Photography: Izzie, Maltese/Shih-tzu mix; Newtown, PA

Hello there and Happy FRIDAY! Thank you for joining me for another Pet Imagery Session Favorites post! I have a very special gal to feature today. Izzie’s mom first contacted me in late August after finding out the devastating news that cancer had spread throughout Izzie’s body and become inoperable. It’s simply the worst news any parent wants to hear. We had scheduled a session pretty soon after but Mother Nature had pushed back our day due to rainy conditions. It became clear to us that we needed to give Izzie her special day, rain or shine. We ended up getting a little bit of both! We met at Tyler State Park, which was symbolic because Izzie’s mom had grown up the area. Sweet Izzie was so adorable as she explored the rocky terrain and the warmth of the Autumn air. I’d like to believe that she knew what was going on and really embraced the experience. I could truly feel the incredible bond between them as I captured these special moments.

It is not every day that I have the opportunity to photograph a beloved pup on their very last day. I feel a deep sense of gratitude that we were able to get together when we did and give Izzie a wonderful send off to the spiritual world. I know she will always be present with her family, friends and she certainly left her paw prints on my heart. Here are some highlights from our time together:

Thank you so much for taking the time to view the images! I’ll be featuring 9 year old Sydney, the gorgeous Australian Shepherd next!

New Dog Photography: Gypsy, Trixie, Lexi and Evee; Trevose, PA

Thanks for popping over to check out another episode of Pet Imagery Session Favorites! What a photogenic crew I have to feature today! They each loved the spotlight and had a wonderful time bopping around their gorgeous and floral backyard. Gypsy even showed off her incredible jumping and agility skills, while the Yorkie gang joyfully played together. Gypsy is the Standard Poodle. Trixie and Lexi are the spirited Yorkshire Terriers and Evee is the pretty Silky Terrier! Such a fun and energetic group! We had to break up a few quarrels but everyone was back to being best buds in a blink of an eye! I can’t tell who stole the show! Of course, Gypsy with her beautiful coat and sweet smile truly enjoyed the camera time. They each have such unique personalities, it was such a pleasure to spend time with everyone, especially their loving human family! Here are a few of my favorites from our day together!

Thank you for taking the time to view the highlights from my session! Lots more sessions to feature coming up! I have a very special session next with the beautiful Izzie.

New Cat Photography: Benjamin, Shorthair Feline; Philadelphia,PA

Hey there! Thank you for joining me for another episode of Pet Imagery Session Favorites! What an absolute STUNNER I have to showcase today! I’m so thrilled to feature Benjamin in all his handsome glory. He looked dashing from every angle, any color –you’d think he’s been doing this for years! Nope! He’s just a baby too, just over a year old! Benjamin was the lucky winner of a charity contest that the wonderful folks at VCA Cat Hospital of Philadelphia were hosting. I met him and his fabulous parents in their awesome Center City house, bursting with color and imagination. Benjamin was named after the historic Philadelphia icon, Benjamin Franklin, and he even posed together with a statue of his namesake. This stud muffin explored his gorgeous home and showed off all his favorite spots. I could tell Benjamin is one chill kitty! He was happy to pose for me and truly made my job easy! I love his distinguished markings and mesmerizing eyes. I should stop blabbing away and get to the photos! I have many favorites! I mean, just look at that face!

Thank you so much for taking the time to view the images! I have a wonderful pack of beautiful pooches to showcase next! Get excited and stay tuned! Feel free to share with your pet loving friends!!

Have a great day!

Lauren 🙂
