Hello and Happy Friday folks! Thanks for joining me in celebrating these two special pets, Misty and Sunny. Their owner came to me last month wanting to capture them looking and feeling their best since Sunny (the pooch) and Misty have battled some intense medical conditions. Sunny actually had to get a pacemaker inserted into that tiny body of his, while Misty’s overall health had taken a recent turn for the worse.

In fact, the owner wasn’t completely sure how Misty would respond to the photo session. I think she was concerned she’d be hiding while Sunny got all the attention. WELL, Misty surprised all of us! She was actually the star of the show! Her personality just beamed when I put the camera on her and she really enjoyed the spotlight. You’ll see from the photos below that she did not shy away from the experience–she reveled in it. I can’t say enough how wonderful it was to have Misty be back to her old self during our shoot. It was pretty magical!

Towards the end of our session, Misty shocked all of us and got in her awesome blue cat hideaway. It was so exciting because she hadn’t gone inside in such a long time! She sure does look good in blue!

It was almost as if Misty knew her time on Earth wasn’t much longer. She passed away one week to the day. I know her spirit will forever be present in these photos and she will be remembered always. I’m so glad I got to meet her.
